Precision CNC Machinist
We are a well-established precision mold maker founded in 1989.
Our primary business is custom molds for the plastics industry.
We design and build a variety of types of molds from complex, high
tolerance two shot injection molds, thermoset tooling, high volume
specialty bottle molds, and extrusion blow molds.
We are seeking a well-rounded individual
experienced with setup and machining. A thorough knowledge of G & M
codes is required. Fanuc control experience as well as full
working knowledge of modern CNC machining centers is also required. The
qualified candidate will be responsible for setup, operation, tooling
and basic troubleshooting.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
•
A minimum 5 years of experience in operating CNC
milling machines
•
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices,
and procedures involving CNC machines
•
G-Code knowledge & CAD/CAM
•
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints,
understand drawing features, and 3D data
•
Full understanding of tool offsets
•
Ability to follow written instructions and
procedures
•
Ability to use modern shop floor communication
and scheduling software
Preferred qualifications include:
•
Experience in a custom machining – one off
environment
•
Mold making experience
•
Experience on high speed and/or 3D contour
machining
Responsibilities include:
•
Set up and operation of CNC Milling machines
•
Determining the most efficient and effective
speeds and feeds based on material being used
•
Working from blueprints, 3D data, and
established programs, to perform machining operations requiring close
tolerances
•
Responsible for operating multiple machines
simultaneously in a fast paced environment
Hours of Work:
1st shift Monday – Friday 6am‑2:30pm. Employee must be available to
work overtime as needed.
