Understand proper tooling and procedures for
machining a variety of materials including, carbon steel, stainless
steel, ferrous and
nonferrous alloys, aluminum, and plastic. · Demonstrated ability to read blueprints,
understand drawing features, and 3D data.

Demonstrated ability to use common shop floor
measuring instruments.
·
Ability to follow written instructions and
procedures.
·
Ability to use modern shop floor communication
and scheduling software.
Preferred qualifications include:
·
Experience in a custom machining –one off
environment.
·
Mold making experience.
·
Bench and assembly experience.
Responsibilities include:
·
Responsible for set-up, operation and care of manual machines
including mills, grinders, lathes and related equipment.
· Working from blueprints, 3D data, and
established programs, to perform machining operations requiring close
tolerances
·
Responsible for accurate machining to required
specifications in a timely manner.
Hours of Work:
1st shift Monday –Friday 6am‑2:30pm. Employee must be available to work
overtime as needed.
